Holiday 2009

This Christmas was so funny with Isabel. Josh and I didn't think about getting each other anything, just Isabel. We started early with getting a play piano that Nordstroms was selling. I was also able to get a hold of a Mickey Mouse Couch, and that is what she continues to call it, Mickey Mouse Couch. She sits on the couch playing her piano and reading the many books she got.
By the end of the night she was exhausted, but she had to sleep with her Snow White book.
Josh and I enjoyed ourselves by having a couple friends over. It was nice to have friends to spend the day with. We ate, watched movies, talked, and ate more.
I missed my family so much, but it was nice and quiet. I thought it was perfect to have the day with just the 3 of us.
To finish our Year we drove up to Whitetail in PA to take Isabel tubing. We actually didn't think about going skiing until we got there. They had child care right by the lifts. It was perfect. We went into debt a little for rentals and lift tickets and child care, but well worth the money spent. Josh had to help me along the way. Being from Utah you would think that I was a skier, but I would rather be on the water doing it! I caught on pretty quick. But by the time I started figuring it out, which was about the 6th run with only 2 falls, I was so dang tired. My leg muscles were just burning. (forgot my dub that day)
We made sure the Hotel we stayed in had a indoor pool, but that didn't matter it was freezing cold anyways! Isabel still swam with a purple lip smile! Josh and I took turns with her and sitting in the hot tube.
New Years Eve night, we were both so tired we fell asleep before the party began. Since we were at the Hotel we thought we would just watch all the fun stuff on TV which started at 10, but we both woke up about 12:30. We kissed and fell back asleep with Isabel between us. Perfect night I'd say.
Over all our Holiday was fun and relaxing.
I love being able to share the holidays with my husband, I never know if he will make it for the next one. Isabel and I are so lucky to have someone who takes care of us and loves us every day. Love Love Love

What's DUB?

This was originally a Facebook Note, but thought I would bring it to my blog world.

I have been talking up this new product I have been using to most of you for awhile. Now I am going to share the joys with you.
DUB Nutrition has become a main ingredient in my life. Sounds lame I know, but it really has given me energy and motivation in all aspects of life.
As a women, of course I was looking for weight loss, but as a mother I was looking for energy. Energy is what I found! The best energy, because it is all natural. No post jitters or afternoon crashing either.
It's packed with antioxidants and riding my body of free radicals. I actually feel healthy inside!
Along with a low and moderate intense exercise program, a moderation in diet, and DUB, I can feel the natural changes in my body.

For those of you know me, know that I am well reserved and not much of a talker. I wouldn't write a "note" about just anything! Take a look and read more about DUB. Figure out what your goal is and what changes you want to see and DUB will help.

Okay, here is the scoop.

DUB products are Supplements. They were created with all generations and goals in mind.
Losing weight, becoming leaner, or just feeling healthy and energized.

For me I have noticed a tremendous amount of energy....and have lost body fat. I have also noticed a decrease in joint pain. I have had a neck pain that has persisted for about 5 months. After 2 weeks of DUB I have full range of motion in my neck. I believe it is due to Curcumin which has anti-inflammatory properties. My grandpa even takes these products for this reason. Who wouldn't want relief of joint pain?

I take 2 Youth and 2 Burner with breakfast. (You will notice no more coffee or caffeine is needed to start your day!) At lunch I take 1 Youth and 1 Burner. (You will notice no crash or jitters in the afternoon!) I use to take naps with my daughter when she did because I was always as tired as she was. Now I have the energy and motivation to exercise or just get things done I normally put off.
I take 3 Muscle when I am about the exercise, including housework or walking. This helps with my recovery time. My muscles have been sore once since using DUB Muscle. I noticed this is helping my muscle tissue recover and transform.

Read more about natural ingredients here:

I really have a new passion for a healthy life style. Work is required! But DUB has assisted me in seeing results, which is due to the ingredients our bodies naturally need.

If you are interested in the same change I was, please email me.

DUB Love to you,

Brandie

Another month goes by...

It is already December? This holiday season is going by fast. It is more fun and exciting this year because Isabel is more excited. She can say Christmas, but is sounds more like crimis. Or something like that. Her favorite thing to say is HO HO HO!! Pretty funny.
She has already gotten to open a present from her Aunt Brooke and cousins, it was a little poeple Nativity Scene. She loves the sheep and baby Jesus.
We had a great time in North Carolina with my brothers family. Isabel had all three girls to herself. It was like this: she acknowledge Syndney, she loved Carys, and it was a love/hate relationship with Elyse! She woke up every morning in a room full of toys. It was nice for me because I could continue sleeping as she played. She also called for Carys anytime she wasn't in the room. Her and Elyse played okay with each other for so long, but then became possessive. Isabel is a bully. I felt so bad that she kept pushing Elyse around. I am sure she gets that from her dad. I am nothing like that!!
Thanksgiving is past but I still have some many things to be grateful for! My families are the highlight of my life. My husband and daughter keep my laughing and having so much fun in life. They are the best supporters. My best friend, my mom. She is the greatest! My friends who are all over the world. I love that we can still have close relationships even though we don't get to see each other. So I guess I am grateful for Skype too!
I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday season. Keep in mind the true meaning and enjoy each others company. I don't get to go home for Christmas, this will be the second time in a row. Makes me sad, but I love making new traditions with the ones I have close always.
Here are some pictures of our trip. Just click...Love love love

Oct 2009

Oct 31, 2009

It was another fun filled Halloween.
Isabel was a cute, but scary witch. She had a hard time wearing her costume. The hat only stayed on for a moment and....well she basically ripped the seams on her dress trying to take it off. I guess she really is like me in that way, it is easier to just wear nothing!
Our ward had a Halloween party that had many fun games and activities, but I couldn't get Isabel off the dance floor! She loved dancing the Monster Mash and Thriller. I was able to get her to try the donut game, which she did pretty good at. We then had a trunk or treat in the church parking lot. We got lots of candy, but then turned around and gave it back to more kids. (good thinking I say)
We carved, well assembled our pumpkin this year. Josh had the most fun with all the Mr. Potato Head pieces. Isabel continues to take apart and reassemble the pumpkin and all the pieces. She also tries to move the pumpkin around along with the word "heavyyy!"
As for me, I binged on Reese Peanut Butter Cups and snickers for a day and a half. Thanks to my neighbor! And Thanks to Josh for letting me.
Hope everyone had a spooky Halloween.

Now...Bring on The Turkey Day!

P.S. the brownie pictures, where Isabel is eating the batter, the batter is made without egg. In case some of you moms out there don't let there kids eat batter because of raw egg.

New Movie Rommendation...

I just watched a movie called Management tonight. It don't remember it being publicized very much, but thought I would give it a watch.
I would recommend to anyone who loves a good awkward, romantic, comedy. Steve Zahn is hilarious. You will love why it is called a "touching comedy."
Let me know what you think.

EEG successful....

We recently learned of Isabel's condition a couple months ago. Nothing too serious, but the doctors still wanted to test her brain. We finally got her in for her EEG, after a couple months of waiting. She did so good. She has never liked to lay on a bed will in a doctors office, so we struggled there, but that was all. The doctor places 27 wires all over her scale. We made it a joke she she laugh when he would press the wire to her head with Vaseline. He then wrapped he whole head with gauze so she couldn't remove them. She laid on my chest as I sang her to sleep. They wanted two test: one with her awake and one asleep. Luckily she fell asleep to sound of my humming. I totally forgot to get pictures till it was too late, but here are a few.

(Still happy even with wires coming out of her head)

Vaseline is a bugger to get out of hair. I gave up so I could take her home and do it. But then...

We stopped to get a little lunch on the home. There happened to be a salon next to the place we ate. So....

We took her in for a shampoo and trim. Her first hair cut, which she loved. It was almost refreshing to her as it is for me and every other women who enjoys being pampered by a stylist. No worries everyone, it still has curl, fluff, and layers. Guess I should post and after huh. Just wait till next post I guess.

SLC Sept 2009

We had so much fun visiting our home town. I can't believe how much is still the same yet totally different. We planned our trip perfectly, we got to be home for Two new babies, a wedding shower, a wedding, and football games.
Thanks to both our families who made us feel at home and missed. We miss Utah and can't wait to move back....just as soon as California falls into the Ocean. That way Josh can still be close to Navy bases and work. Problem solved!
Check out our fun times.
